Bachelor Of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc):

Candidates seeking admission to various UG degree programmes of the University must have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject subjects as shown below at 10+2 examination for general category & 40% marks for SC/ST and other special category including physically handicapped/in-service candidate.

1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with English as one of the subject of study.
2. The candidates must have attained 17 years of age on 31st July of the admission year.
3. The selection/ nomination of candidates should be made through Common Entrance Test conducted by the concerned State.

Students seeking admission to B.F.Sc programmes shall be permanent resident or domicile of any one of the six North East state of India viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura. The number of students to be admitted from each of the six North East states as per mentioned seats in Student Intake.

• The candidate to be sponsored for admission to different degree programmes shall be from the merit list based on the Common Entrance Test, conducted by the concerned states.
• Fifteen per cent of the approved number of seat in B.F.Sc. programmes shall be filled up by the ICAR or as amended from time to time by ICAR.
• The ICAR nominees shall be governed by the eligibility as prescribed by the ICAR, New Delhi.

The dated of admission to a Bachelor’s degree programme shall be as per the announcement made in the Prospectus/Academic Calendar/Semester Calendar and notified by the Registrar, Central Agricultural University, Imphal.

Each student seeking admission in the University shall submit an application in the prescribed form with the following certificates and documents in original before the Admission Committee constituted for the purpose.

1. Pass Certificate for 10+2 Examination
2. Marks Sheet of 10+2 Examination
3. Certificate of High School pass Examination in support of date of birth
4. Migration certificate from the Board/University where the candidate studies last
5. College /School leaving certificate from the authority of the college/school where the candidate studied last
6. Conduct certificate from the Principal of the College/School where the candidate studied last
7. Permanent residency/domicile certificate of concerned state
8. Certificate from competent authority, incase admission is sought under reserved category
9. Medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon in support of Physical fitness of the candidate
10. Any other documents (as per prospectus / notification) that may be required at the time of admission.

The first day of the commencement of the semester shall be the date of registration by the students.

1. On admission, a student shall be provided four copies of Registration Cards having different colours, one for the advisor, one for the Dean and one for the Registrar, which he shall fill up and register for the prescribed courses for the first semester. The Registration Cards shall be signed by the student, his advisor, the Assistant Registrar (Acad.) and countersigned by the Dean of the College.
2. On admission and registration, the student shall be provided with an Identity Card with his/her photograph. The Identity Card shall be returned to the College, when the student leaves the college after completion/discontinuation of the course.
3. Each newly admitted student shall be given an Admission Number by the Dean of the concerned college and this Admission Number shall continue till allotment of Registration Number by the Registrar.
