A Hands on Training on
BIOINFORMATICS AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY TECHNIQUES APLLIED TO FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE

A hands on training was successfully conducted on “Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology Techniques Applied to Fisheries and Aquaculture”  organized by DBT funded BIF centre and Biotech Hub, College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University, Lembucherra during 21-28 March, 2016. This training programme consisted of lectures as well as practical demonstrations on NCBI Database, Sequence Alignment Softwares, BLAST, ASFA, DNA /RNA Isolation, PCR, Molecular Cloning, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Real Time PCR etc.

The resource person were from College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, Tripura University, Women’s Polytechnic College, IASRI, New Delhi, and Ex. Principal Scientist, CIFA, Bhubaneswar.

The following topics were covered in this 8 days hands on training program :-
